About the Position
Software Radio Systems Limited has an opportunity for a full-time software radio engineer to join our R&D team for an immediate opening. The primary responsibility of this position is contributing to the design and implementation of the physical layer of our 4G and 5G products.
Key aspects of this role include:
- writing clean & maintainable code
- contributing to the system architecture of our software applications
- preparing test suites and participating in code reviews
Good technical communication skills are essential. Previous experience in developing SDR applications is highly valued. Engagement with open-source software projects is a plus. Candidates should be self-driven and eager to learn more.
Travel expectations are light, mostly consisting of company meetings and occasional customer visits. Candidates must be authorized to work within the EU and fluent in English. The position will be based in Barcelona, however the successful candidate may choose to work remotely within the EU, collaborating with the SRS R&D teams across our Barcelona and Dublin offices. We cannot currently sponsor visa applications.
