Cork, Ireland – September 29, 2025 – Software Radio Systems (SRS) has been awarded End-to-End (E2E) O-RAN Technical Certification for its srsRAN Enterprise 5G CU/DU solution. The certification was formally presented during the i14y Lab Summit on September 11, 2025, in Berlin.
The i14y Lab issued the O-RAN Alliance E2E Badge to SRS following a comprehensive program of functional and security testing, as defined by the Test and Integration Focus Group (TIFG). The certification confirms that srsRAN Enterprise complies with 3GPP and O-RAN specifications and has passed the O-RAN E2E test suite. The result validates srsRAN Enterprise’s readiness for multi-vendor integration in open and disaggregated radio access networks.
As part of the certification process, srsRAN Enterprise was validated across a comprehensive set of functions, including:
- Key O-RAN and 3GPP interfaces: N2, N3, F1, E1, and open fronthaul, which form the backbone of an interoperable, disaggregated RAN.
- Mobility scenarios: intra- and inter-DU/CU mobility as well as intra- and inter-frequency handovers, ensuring seamless connectivity across deployments.
- Performance and security features: confirming that the solution meets the reliability and protection requirements of commercial deployments.
By successfully passing these tests, srsRAN Enterprise has demonstrated its readiness to support a full range of deployment scenarios while delivering the interoperability, performance, and assurance customers expect.
